Sage green Precision w/maple neck...KOOL !! !!

Sign in to disble this ad
I sold another one of my Rik's over the weekend and got this Precision as a partial trade. Previous owner said it is an '88-89 with all original electronics, and he said it had a nitro refinish about 8 years ago. Matching headstock looks great in this color combo!! Very little wear on the finish with just a couple minimal wear-thru marks. Maple neck seems VERY straight, has minimal wear, frets look good, and it sounds WAY HUGE!! This is how a P-Bass should sound,, big and fat with great sizzle on the highs too. Fingering is nice and low, and it has one of the nice flat fretboards. If I didn't already have a herd 'o Precisions...I'd keep this one.

I don't have much more info on it than that. I got a nice Fender bag with it too.

$450 includes shipping in the US in the Fender gig bag, or $475 shipped in the hard case in the pics.

Trades up or down are alway kool...throw 'em out at me.

Merry Christmas Bro's!!

This is absolutely gorgeous. How's the neck on this compare to a road worn/57 P neck?

Probably about the same I would think. This one is NOT a log. It's actually one of the slimmer P's that I've played. It is a 1- 5/8" standard P width, but a little easier than most P's to wrap your hand around and has a flat maple board.

Is the neck stock? It could be the picture, but the HS shape looks a bit *non-Fender*

I'm sure that's a cool bass, but agreed: not sure it's Fender......

edit: now I noticed that you never say it is actually a Fender.....just trying to clarify.

I do believe that its the stock neck. It's shape in person is indentical to my other P's. But...I'm not gonna guarantee it...as the refinish on the matching headstock eliminated the serial #.

Master, very cool bass, interested even if it's not a Fender. :-) Please PM me, let me know if you would ship to Switzerland. I have family in US but would rather have it shipped direct. I have a few basses for trade too, but would require cash on your end.

Not cool. Let the man sell his bass. Let the potential buyers ask the questions.

BTW - for those questioning the inlays, check the OP's sig line...."THE REIGNING KING OF VINYL INLAY DECALS!"

My guess is that the blocks are vinyl decals.

Great looking bass, BTW.
