1983 Rickenbacker 4001 bass guitar, bass is in excellent shape, pickups are very strong output, azureglo refinish by Master Restoration expert Paul Wilczynski Aka (Jingle Jangle) from the Rickenbacker Forum & the Rick Resource Forum, please go to the link below to get the full story on what Paul did restoration wise on this 4001. The bass has Grover tuners, has a brand new Rickenbacker replacement tailpiece but I do have the original that I will include, I only changed it out due to the tail lift on the older tailpiece but there where no extra holes drilled the newer Rickenbacker tailpiece fitted perfectly, I called Rickenbacker and they told me it should fit perfectly with out any drilling in extra holes.
Comes with original tolex hardshell case which is worn in for it's age.
I'm readjusting price for this bass to $1900.00 because I've decided to throw back in with the deal the extra set of NEW OLD STOCK set of Grover tuners just like what is on the bass right now that came from the factory, again as I stated before I checked the little brown envelope that the screws came in and there is 1 screw missing out of the envelope, shipping w/ insurance is $50.00. Oh I did want to mention also, I have the treble pickup cover off right now but will include, and I have the capacitor off also which makes the bass sound even better with more growl and volume on the treble pickup, the capacitor will be included as well in the compartment of the bass case along with the treble pickup cover.
