Those 90's Rays had some serious birsdeye necks! Beautiful! If it growls like it looks, that surely is a great bass.

PM sent.

For whatever reason I have gotten a hankering for a Stingray here lately. I had one back in the day that was terrific. Only able to trade right now though. I'll find one at some point.

I have a '95 exactly like your '95. Sweet, sweet bass! Crazy insane birdseye also. I used Warwick grease instead of the gun stock oil and it came out just beautifully. I also bought an OEM mute kit (I paid big bucks but they are $25 through EBMM now) for mine.

Note to the seller and/or perspective buyer, mine had some clearcoat scratches that I was able to rub out with plastic polish. It took a bit of elbow grease but they came out nicely.

Thanks Jerry. I thought about getting some mutes a while back. I just never got around to it. I bet it is awesome with the mutes though!
These are great basses. The early to mid 90s stingrays have always been some of my favorites.
Thanks for the heads up on the surface scratches.
Joe

They must have gotten into some pretty good birdseye stock in the early to mid 90's. You can find some nice figure on certain basses from that date range.
They are using some nice wood on the classic series necks now. I've seen a few that are pretty sick!

Thanks,
Joe

This era of Stingray is far better than the new one, in my opinion. That's a KILLER neck on that bass, wish I had the fundage!
