Beautiful 4001C64S in ULTRA RARE FLAT SATIN BLACK in near mint condition. Original Vintage Silver Case included.
This bass has the vintage/modern mod done to it which allows you to switch between the vintage sound of the 4001 and the newer more modern tone of the 4003. The mod is fully reversible although I do not know why anyone would want to do so.
There were only a small number of these produced in the FLAT SATIN BLACK finish....so it does not show smudges and fingerprints like the typical shiny Jetglo do. $2500 CONUS. Other areas considered but buyer will be responsible for all shipping and insurance charges.

Same hardware and pickups. Only real difference is the zero fret and the flipped headstock. For half the price, this is one you could gig without the fear of hurting a collectors item (though satin black is pretty rare)  .
This one is killer.

I had a Jetglo once and it always looked messy as all smudges showed up easily. This one gets rid of that problem I think.
