Beautiful Roscoe SKB-3005, Exhibition grade KOA Top & Mahogany body, S/N 6064
$2350.00 shipped CONUS w/Roland GK-3B pickup, $2250.00 w/o GK-3B pickup. I'll ship to other locations, however buyer is responsible for any/all import duties, taxes,etc.
Maple neck with Purpleheart center lamination and Maple & Cherry accent laminations. Fingerboard is Pau Ferro.
Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups and Aguilar OBP-3 pre-amp.
This combination is really, really nice, and it's hard for me to sell this bass.
There are No swirl marks in the clear coat, no dings or dents and the bass looks "as new"... The HSC is absolutely new as well.
I have played this bass regularly, but you'd never know it! No fretwear, no issues, strung with a fairly new set of Thomastik PowerBass Nickel round-wounds and sounds awesome!
Note: the pictures are with the Roland GK-3B removed - there are 3 small holes (from previous owner's installation) and in the effort to provide the most complete picture of the bass I've decided to show the bass without the GK-3B installed. When the MIDI pickup is installed the small holes are covered. You don't notice them from more than 1 foot away and they don't affect playability whatsoever. When the MIDI pickup is installed it is shifted to the right which is how Roland describes to install their pickup on a 5-string bass. If that's an issue for you, then this bass isn't for you....It's an absolutely great instrument, I hate to sell it. The true beauty is in the sound and how it feels and plays in your hands. I love that Mean Roscoe Growl, like a guard dog on a short leash!!!
