I've decided to part with my beautiful P Deluxe. With only 4 strings I just don't play it these days. It looks great, sounds great and plays great.
It's a USA 90's model with Suhr designed P pick-up and a double J pickup with the jumbo poll pieces all leading to the Suhr Preamp. If you haven't owned one from this era, it sounds great and I can dial in anything I desire from a passive to an aggressive sound.
It's a beautiful 2-piece body in what I believe is ash. The sunburst finish looks outstanding with the tort pickguard and the back obviously was matched. It was a good day for Fender that day.
There are a few very small dings with the worst pictured. I've only had flats on it so the frets have a lot of life left. One fret came from the factory a little high and had to be filed long ago. It was just set up with new Chromes and it plays and sounds great. Weighs in at 9.5 on my digital bathroom scale.
I'm looking to buy something else and so long as that bass is for sale, my sale price, including the original, and also in excellent condition, hard shell case, is 799 plus the first 25 of insured shipping FedEx ground to the 48 made by a fee free payment.
