For Sale: Butter Creme 2005 Limited Edition Stingray 4H

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale is a Beautiful Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 Limited Edition 2005 bass guitar. I originally purchased this off another TB'er a few months ago. The bass features a 3 band active EQ and EBMM's famous humbucker pickup. The bass itself has only one ding that I can find on it, on the top side of the bass where the picking arm comes over the bass. The ding is down to the wood, but it is smaller than the size of a dime and doesnt not affect playability. This happened sometime during shipment from the person I bought it from.

Additionally, this bass will come with its matched 2005 LE hard case with gold interior. The case itself has some flight damage as is seen in the picture and that actual case lock does not stay shut. Again, this seems to have happened in transport from when I purchased it a few months back.

The bass will come shipped in the hardcase inside a padded cardboard box to anywhere in the Continental United States.

Price is 1150USD shipped to CONUS. Shipping outside of CONUS will require additional postage. If you are looking for shipment elsewhere, please PM me so we can discuss shipping.

Now on to the pics!

This is the only problem with the case, again it happened during shipping:

Here is the ding I am talking about. Not visible when playing:

I didnt place a claim. At the time, I planned for this bass to be my main rig, so it would have gotten some serious use that would have made that look like nothing over time. That being said, I have only played this in my living room, so looking back I kinda wish I had placed a claim.

Feel free to PM me to discuss if you are interested. This bass is a killer and wish I didnt need to sell it!

I bought a Bongo off Ebay...good price...rare color...
The seller handed it to the UPS Store to ship and pack.
The UPS store tossed the hard case into a 16x16x? box with not as much as a cotton ball for packing material and charged the seller $95.00!!!
So needless to say it had a rough ride half way across the country.
She took some damage.
I put in a claim with UPS Store...ended up being able to keep the bass and get a settlement for $476 for the damages.

All in all...Could have been worse.
Still have the bass.

I will give some thought to buying it from ya and if i can swing it...will drop ya a message....I am working in Boston every 3 weeks and actually will be there this Thursday thru Saturday.

thanks , ttys

I am now entertaining trade offers! What do you have? Specifically interesting would be any Bolt On Fretless 5 string Warwick. I can add some cash on my end if needed.....other interesting bits would be Fender Marcus Miller Jazz, or a Geddy Lee Jazz......
