FOR SALE FENDER 1978 JAZZ BASS $1500

For sale is this refinished 1978 Fender Jazz Bass. All original except for paint, bridge and pick-guard (the original one is broken. will include if desired). The Neck and Fingerboard were painstakingly re-fretted and re-finished by Jimmy Coppolo of Alleva Coppolo Guitars & Basses. The refinish on the body is not the best, I don't even believe that it was a color that was offered in 1978. This is a Player's Bass. It has been set-up and re-fretted to be a Player's Bass. If you're looking for a collector's item, this is not it. But if you're looking for a 70's Jazz Bass that's in good condition and ready to roll, then this is the bass for you. Includes original Fender Hard Shell Case.

I do not currently have the bass in my posession, so I can not give you any detailed specs. I will say that having owned quite a few jazz basses, this bass is by no means a "boat-anchor". It's ash, so it is heavy like you might expect a 70's Jazz Bass to be. I would guestimate its weight to be around 10 lbs.
