It's for sale for $500 cash or trade plus cash - I'm interested in an MB5 or something similar plus 300$. Might consider a synth pedal and cash. Lemme know what you have. You pay actual shipping costs. CONUS only, please.
It's been played. I played it every weekend in my originals band and at church every Sunday for around 3 years. It's a great bass!
I ended up moving to a Precision because of a change in style and focus and it just suits the music better at this point.
I have attempted to represent the bass as accurately as possible so there aren't any misunderstandings as to the condition.
Here's the info as copied from my C.list ad:
I have swapped out the original white pickguard for a black one (and I still have the original which I will include with the bass).
I have swapped the original Chrome Leo Quan Badass 2 bridge for a Black Badass 3. I do not have the orignal bridge anymore.
I have swapped the original Chrome tuners for Black Shaller tuners. I do not have the original tuners any more.
The electronics remain fully stock and untouched.
I have replaced the original strap buttons with recessed Dunlop StrapLoks and in all honesty I think it just completes the look.
The prominent damage to the finish is mostly cosmetic and actually happened in transit from the previous dork, I mean owner who improperly packed it when it was shipped to me. One of the chips is a bit of a gouge but is not visible when being played and is easily repairable if you are so inclined. The damage will be shown in the photos below.
This photo shows the worst damage (or the Best Mojo?)
Black "After Market" Pickguard - it was the correct screw hole pattern and number so there aren't any extra holes
Black Schaller Tuners
Leo Quan Badass III Bridge - its black too

(the dust is from the coated Elixir strings that I use) I think it did extend the sustain slightly - it also gives you the option to convert to string-thru if you want to do the drilling. I'll throw the black ferrules in if you want them.
Recessed Straplok and a small dent in the edge just to the left and the previous owner felt he needed 2 strap buttons.

(I know! The blackberry photos don't always cut it, but its what I got to work with today)
This picture looks like there are scratches and stuff but i checked and there is no marring on the upper bout.
This scratch would be on the edge of the body where you arm would rest while playing. I think it may have gotten there from a zipper scratch while using a gig bag.
But the back is really clean (having a little bit of a gut does have its advantages

) Also - thats a reflection of my ceiling, not a hole in the bass.
I think thats it - lemme know if you're interested.
