I built this bass for my son in 2003. The body 3 color sunburst and great sounding wood. The neck is maple with an ebony board. It is an All-Parts neck with thick ebony board. The bridge is a Fender early 80's special. It sports a set of Fender "Custom Shop '60" pickups. A real great sounding bass for the '60s growly Jaco Jazz. That's how I feel...but some times life get's in the way. I will never part with my '65 P bass or my Ken Smith's. But right now I need to re align some things. This 4 string is an amazing sounding and playing bass for the stock vintage Jazz Bass thing. The Laklands are truly amazing instruments as well and that thought saddens me as well. I won't post pictures of them here...
