For Sale: G&L ASAT Bass

Beautiful ASAT Bass with an ash body with a translucent butterscotch finish that highlights the grain. Highly figure birdseye maple fingerboard. There are no dings nor dents in the body. Only blemish is a tiny nick on the very edge of th headstock. Nice low action with brand new D'Addario XL165 strings. Six bolt neck attachment and a nice gloss finish on the jazz style neck. Standard G&L electronics with the dual MFD pickups, volume, bass and treble cut, pickup selector, series/paralell, and preamp off/on/treble boost. Ships in a nicely padded tweed Fender Deluxe gig bag.

A very versatile bass with a wide range of sounds. The body balances very nicely on a strap with no neck dive. There is a belly cut out on the back so the bass sits very nicely. I don't know the year of manufacture. I did get it second hand, but the six bolts and the excellent condition would lead me to believe it is recent. Th s/n starts with CLF if that means anything.

There is no ASAT Tribute, this is a USA made bass, standard G&L electronics, same as L2000. 1 5/8" nut width.
