Up for sale is a very nice 1999 (bought in 2000) G&L American L-2500 custom top 5er with hardshell case. (two broken feet)
I believe the finish is called Honeyburst with a flamed/quilted maple top/swamp ash body and rosewood board. Bass is in very nice condition for it's age overall...with a few dings, the worst was repaired on the edge and I've included pics. Looks great on and plays like a killer.
I have a BABP G&L L-2500 that I'm playing exclusively now and I just can't rationalize keeping this beauty anymore.
Bath scale says 9lbs 14oz.
I just had it inspected and a total set-up ($80 total for the set-up+strings) with brand new set of Dunlop Nickles (45-125) performed by Scott at Elderly Instruments, so it's ready for it's new owner with new strings and a clean bill of health.
FWIW I do know how to do my own set-ups, however I have all my amps inspected and basses inspected and set up professionally when I sell them so there are no surprises for either of us.
Priced to sell at 829 plus the first 20 of FedEx ground with a fee less payment, shipped to the 48 ONLY.
Only trade I'm looking for is a Mesa M9 +/-/even.
