*********SOLD***********
Bartolini Dual Coils
Glokenklang 3 band preamp
Ash body
flame maple top
3 piece maple neck
birdseye maple board
35" scale length
This bass has been used alot. There are no major issues, but it isn't a clean machine. Most of the wear is normal playing wear...The board is starting to show usage and the pickup covers are scratched....It has been well taken care of, but well used.
One weird thing about the bass, there are two sets of screw holes under the bridge. I don't know if it has a new bridge on it, or maybe it was done to intonate it......I can't say. It was like that when I got it. Never-the-less, you cannot see them when the bridge is on.
I would like to get $1600 shipped for it. I can't do trades at the moment.
These are pics from the Low End site.

I wanted to describe the wear a bit more. Here is a (bad) pic of the scratches on the pickup cover:
Here is the board. The frets have alot of life left in them. The board is darkening a bit from use:
Here is the bridge. Everything looks right, but underneath, there is another set of holes: |

The preamp and pickups are an upgrade as well, from what was most likely a seymour duncan preamp with basslines pickups. |

I wish I had the money; this thing looks terrific and it's not wear, it's mojo!

If id didn't have some cash tied up in a custom I'd be on this in a heartbeat. Ken's work is incredible! Best of luck with what I assume will be a quick sale |

| | | Sell your Nordy's, Sadowsky's & Ken Smiths 's. I have 2 Associate 5's, wired 18 volt system's. I have owned alot of boutique basses but this one will rock the house. There's already an extra cavity for the other 9 volt battery, or should be! Somebody's dream bass is right here! |
