This is a fantastic bass, and I'm only selling it because I am interested in one of Jon's J style basses. It has a thick, chambered alder body with flamed koa top. The pickups are RMC Pow’r Bass polyphonic piezos in the bridge saddles and a custom Kent Armstrong dual coil mag pickup in the bridge position. Aguilar OBP-3 preamp with a Bartolini MPB2 Buffer. It has a lined ebony board. The position markers were a little hard to see in darker situations, so I had Jon put in brighter lines. The strap buttons are recessed into the body. There is also a removable fingerboard ramp, wooden knobs and cool wooden bridge. The craftsmanship is fantastic. Jon is one of my favorite builders. Impeccable quality, and a heck of a nice guy too. I've played a lot of high end basses, and this one is second to none. The bass is in great shape. I would like to get $2200 shipped for the bass. I'm not really looking for trades right now.
