This is one of those "fornicate, I spent too much moola on Christmas" sale.
Up for sale is my prized MusicMan StingRay 4. I always try to keep a 4 banger in the stable and I kept this one the longest. It sounds great, killer slap sounds and low action.
I've played this one a lot, the back of the neck feels great and looks worn, very cool! Overall great condition, there's a ding by the strap button but you can't see it wearing a strap, I covered it with a sharpie. Comes in the original MusicMan hard case.
$899 plus actual shipping costs, international OK but you pay for all the shipping/packing costs

You got me thinking.
I really never put too much attention to the switch, I just played the hell out of the bass
I just tested it and the eq works in both positions, so my guess is it's a coil switch; When I put the switch in the "down" position the bass sounds fuller, a tad louder and with more low end. With the switch in the "up" position it sounds a little more "nasal", kind of like when you solo a bridge jazz pickup, but you can still eq the sound to your liking.
I hope that helps, this is a really nice bass.
