Hey guys just got this back from a great tber in a trade, but I'm too wrapped up in my vintage project to really appreciate this baby right now, I even sold my 62 p just recently so I think I'm done with precisions for a while.
So up for ur consideration is 83-84 japanese squier p in great condition other than a paint ship at the bottom and scratches dings etc. The neck is flawless with little fretwear fully functioning truss rod ,perfectly cut nut and intonated bridge. This ones light too at around 8 pounds on my bathroom scale. The body is nice and resonant and was unfortunately damaged in shipping over here so it left tht resulting chip at the bottom which is pictured, at least it shows it has a nice solid alder underneath lol.
These mij squiers have a well know reputation for being highly playable and great sounding instruments and are honestly identical in feel to the mij fenders I've owned. I actually just sold a sq mij squier with a beat to hell botched up refinish that was already peeling off for 350 , (Just to give u an idea of resale value),so considering that I think that this will be a quick and easy sale at $415 shipped anywhere inside the main U.S.
