For Sale Only: Peavey Cirrus 5-string neck through bass! Looking for 850$ 800$ shipped in HSC!

I am selling this bass for a close friend/musician I work with. He is scaling down to four stringers so he would like to sell this beaut! He is the original owner. The bass is a late 90s model (serial # 10058623). It weighs at around 9.5 give or take on a bathroom scale. Bass is set up well with no issues. Very low action and super fast neck. It will be shipped via UPS insured in a nice case of course packaged to survive rough treatment. I have inspected and played the bass and it is quite a ride. Also, the seller is a great guy and good player as well. The pictures tell the story!

Here is what he says about it:

Love this bass. Has an amazing tone and is super easy to play. Just don't need the B string any more. It has turned into some what of a thumb rest now a days. This bass is in great condition. No real scratches on the body or neck. A couple small nicks in the headstock (you can kind of see that in the pictures) Also missing a knob which I believe can be replaced from stew mac.

Features: Bubinga, 35 inch scale Neck-thru-body 2 VFL™ active pickups Active 3-band EQ with +/- 10 dB boost/cut Gold hardware Milled ABM™ multi-adjustable bridge Pau Ferro fretboard Graphite reinforced neck with dual expanding truss rod Graphite overlay on headstock Hand-rubbed oil finish Case included. You will enjoy this bass!

Sweet Cirrus ! This wood combo provides exceptional tone. Knobs are easy to find/replace.

Beautiful grain there. By far my favorite Cirrus wood combo. The knob is just a phone call to Peavey away.

Thanks for the compliments guys. MB94 seems to be the king of Cirrus on this site. Got a few offers but so far nothing has stuck!

+1, I don't know how every Cirrus doesn't sell within 24 hours of someone posting that clip, it should be posted in every Cirrus FS thread .

I have an almost identical bass to this, same wood combo just a little newer. Amazing bass, can't say enough good things about it.
