Here's another one of my refinished Wishbasses that I've decided to sell. Asking price is now
$800 plus shipping.
This one is a 'Claw' model, #1165 and I've done a lot of reshaping and contouring to produce what I think is a very well balanced and good looking, almost mainstream (if that's possible with a Wish') bass.
You'll see I've replaced the EMG J select with a Delano Xtender, which is a great p-up, great tone and flexibility.
You'll find all the build details, photos and a video demo on my web-site
www.davesbassplace.com or click
here.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

As some of you already know I’ve made a hobby out of refinishing Wishbasses and on occasion I’ll buy one to refinish and then end up selling it, to refill my kitty to buy.....another Wishbass! This bass is one of those. although I've been very tempted to keep it to play out.
A Wishbass like this one, custom ordered would cost you $445 (including shipping) from Wishbass, but of course that wouldn’t include a full refinish and a new Delano pick-up.
If you are looking at this item, then you probably know a little about Wishbasses, some of the myths and a lot of the upside! If you don't then I'd recommend that you do some research before you bid. The Wishbass Club at
www.talkbass.com is a good place to start for information. I have also posted build photos of my refinishing work, including this particular bass at
www.davesbassplace.com (click on refinishing). Please note: this is not a production bass guitar, it is a one-off, hand-made bass; no two Wishbasses are alike. You should also visit
www.wishbass.com for more info.
