Hey there, TB!
I'm in the process of saving up for school, so I figured I should thin the herd a bit to help procure some funds for University!
Up for grabs today is a 1980 Aria Rev-Sound Bass (model RSB-800 [thank you again, Mitril, if you're still around]). Details are very, very scarce on this bass. I've been researching it for over 4 years and have found very little information. What I can tell you from owning it is this:
It has a brass nut, Aria Pro II brand Machine Heads, two humbucking pickups, 2 switches (i believe one is a phase, the other I'm not sure) and two stacked pots, controlling volume and tone for each pickup. The neck is made of hard rock maple and walnut and the body/wings are canadian ash.
I am shipping from Alberta, Canada. I will ship this bass with its original hard-shell case with whichever carrier you prefer.
The only modification I've made to it is the back-plate, the old one was falling off so I crafted an aluminum one in place of it. A previous owner had also replaced one of the pickup switches with a newer one.
The reason this is a relist is that it was sold once, but had developed a new 'dead' pickup problem somewhere between shipping and receiving. I've tested it since receiving it back and, yes, indeed this problem exists. I've checked the wiring (as did the previous buyer) and it is indeed done correctly. I'm not overly sure how to fix it, to be honest; but if you are handy I can leave it up to you =)
Compared to the original thread, the price is now a
much lower
$500 + shipping (from Canada)
OBO =)

Note: That isn't dust, it is a reflection haha
