For Sale: Sadowsky NYC Modern 5

Putting my Sadowsky NYC Modern 5 up for sale. This is a great sounding/playing Sadowsky, but I'm finding that I'm really not much of an ash/maple guy and this isn't getting played much these days.

Lightweight Sadowsky case

Build date: June 2000. This bass has been played out (as it should), but for a 10 year old bass, it is still in really great shape. The usual fine swirl marks and scratches on the back, as well as one small ding in the finish on the lower back. There are a few very small dings on the edge of the headstock and there is some wear in the neck finish below the G string. Other than the small ding on back, the other blems are really hard to see unless you are really looking up close.

Does this have the typical 1.875" nut width and 19mm string spacing at the bridge?

Correct. This bass has the standard Sadowsky 5 string spacing.

Aggressive. Punchy. Can NOT hide it in a mix. Very Ken Smith-esque slap tone. Dial the neck pickup and get CLOSE to a PBass. At least this is how I remember my old Ash/Maple Modern Sadowsky. Killer bass and a beautiful top.
