Hey all,
For sale is my Stambaugh "CB" model 4-string fretless bass. I bought this from Chris about a year ago and can say it's truly a spectacular instrument. Here are some specs:
34" Scale
Ash Body
Teak Top
3-piece Maple Neck with Bubinga stringer
Maple Fingerboard
Delano Dual Coil Pickups
Aguilar OBP-3 Preamp
Knobs are for volume, passive tone, pickup blend, treble, mid, and bass with switches for active/passive and low mid/high mid. The passive tone knob also pulls out offering single coil tap mode.
Also, this bass was finished glossy and the fingerboard was epoxied and then finished, so it offers a lot of great Jaco-esque growl and sustain. The back of the neck was sanded down to a satin so you don't have any sticky/tacky issues.
