PRICE DROP : 1700 $
Because I am first of all a fretted bass player I take into consideration selling or trading this highly sensitive and expressive bass, Ibanez Affirma made in Japan and designed by the world wide known luthier Rolf Spuler. As some of you probably know only 1000 (SN: 0425)of these bass items were created in 1990 and out of this particular model (AFR -105F) were crafted less than 200.
Body : Saman
Neck : Maple
Fingerboard : Ebony
Hardware : Cosmo Black
Pickup : Piezo and AFR 5 Special Pickup- The level of each piezo can be individually adjusted
Control : 1-V; 1-Balance between Piezo and Pickup; 2-EQ – Treble and Bass
The “Mono Rail” bridge means an individual unit for each string so that each string’s vibration is transmitted separately to the body.
Color : Oil Finish
The half-through-body construction gives best stability and provibes best sound quality.
In fact, for me is the best fretless bass I have ever played.
It is in best conditions almost mint.
It is dedicated also to collectors but I would definetely recommend it to players because it would be a pity to keep aside such an instrument.
I asses the bass to the amount of 2000 $ but I am also opened for trades (FBass BN, Pedulla, Fender Precision-vintage, Sadowsky, Tobias Basic, Modulus, MM StingRay). Shipping world wide.
Shipped with original case Ibanez Affirma-105

Good luck with your sale man. This thing is hilariously cool looking! |

| | | | I sent you a personal message, to which you never responded. So I have decided to post the gist of the letter here. It is not my intention to discourage any future buyer from doing business with you, but I do expect responses to my PMs.
First off, you have no TB feedback and you, and probably your bass, are located in Romania. Considering all of the potential problems of receiving the bass in America from Eastern Europe, do you have a clear idea of how you would insure that this bass is as you describe it? Can you describe the shipping costs to America, including duties and tariffs? Would you consider utilizing the services of a website like escrow.com, or selling it through a notable American guitar shop to protect both you and the new owner?
Anything else that you could add would be appreciated. |

The Saman (A105) & Walnut (A205) bodies are much more appealing. His asking price of $1700 is reasonable considering it's condition. |
