Sandberg California VS Bass maple board w/ swamp ash body

Specs:
FRETBOARD: 22 frets
SCALE: 864 mm / 34",
BODY: swamp ash/black pickguard
FINISH: natural/highgloss
HARDWARE: sandberg
PICKUP: 1 sandberg splitcoil
PREAMP: sandberg 2-band, active / passive, passive tone control
WEIGHT: 7.9 lbs.
sandberg case included

Sandberg basses are made in Germany and are amazing instruments. This California VS is every bit as good or better than a NYC Sadowsky. It has a modern P Bass tone, with all of the clarity, definition and sustain of a maple board Jazz. The workmanship is flawless and it's a total pleasure to play. It records exceptionally well too! It is in mint condition other than a little pickguard scuffing.

My wife is having surgery this month and will need to take several weeks off from work. January is a slow time for me and so I've had to sell some instruments to get ready. No trade offers please. Believe me, I would not be selling this if I didn't need the money!

$1350 shipped in the CONUS. Paypal accepted.

The controls are: volume, active treble, active bass

If you pull up the volume control, it's in passive mode. The first control is volume, the second is passive tone (just like a regular P), and the third is inactive.
