Sandberg Custom 5 string FS possible FT

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is my Sandberg Custom 5 string. Long story short, im coming up short on bills this month, and need some extra cash, so this being my backup bass, is on the chopping block. Its got a great feeling neck, balances nicely and sounds great in either active or passive mode. the bass is in great shape. it looks like it is right out of the factory.

Specs:
24 frets
34" scale
Adjustable string spacing at the bridge (sandberg bridge)
Delano soapbars with sandberg pre
-volume (push pull active/passive), pickup blend, bass, mids, highs and a mid switch.
mahogany body with cocobolo top
maple neck with rosewood fretboard
bolt on construction
gold hardware
10lbs on the bathroom scale
comes with a custom gator hardcase
although the pics dont include it, i do have the trussrod cover

Now for the price. Id like to get $900 plus shipping to anywhere in the US, and contact me for international shipping. feel free to make me an offer too. The only trades i would possibly consider would be either a Yamaha TRB6 with the single coils or a nice 5 string fretless.

I cant seem to get pics onto my computer right now, but i will get some up tomorrow.

thanks for looking!

Grant

Yeah, that cocobolo is great, and its even nicer in person. the mahogany is almost "flamed" as well. its a killer looking and playing bass. if only you had a trb6. i cant seem to get enough out of my 1!

nut is 1 3/4" wide with about 9mm spacing, and the bridge is fairly adjustable. its around 17.5mm, and could easily go wider or narrower. the 17.5 seems to be with the saddles right in the middle.
