Schecter Baron Bass w/ Upgrades

Sign in to disble this ad
I've decided to sell my Schecter Baron bass that I customized. These normally just came with a single pickup (Duncan Designed I believe). I took that pickup out and added 2 Duncan SMB-4a. I also upgraded the preamp to a Glockenklang 2-Band system. Controls are Volume (w/ active, passive push-pull), blend between pickups, bass, treble. The bass itself is in good condition...some light finish scratches, but nothing else to speak of. 34" scale length and a whopping 9lbs 12oz ! Hipshot bridge...either top load or string thru, sustains for days. This thing is a rock machine. Feel free to email with any questions you might have. Looking for $500 CONUS shipped. Will ship with a gig bag and be professionally packed and insured. Mostly looking to sell, but feel free to email me with interesting trades.

Augh. I'd get it if it were slightly cheaper, but alas...

Anyway, how does it sound? Does it capture a MM vibe or is it punchier? It must sound completely different from the normal EMGHZ equipped Schecters.

Oh, the price is fair. I'm just saying I don't have the money.

Thumbs up

Even the preamp and the PUs would nearly cost $500 alone. That's really a nice bass with a nice price tag!
Free bump...
