I bought this bass from Rob Curcio, aka Syco_Bass, aka Arizona Bass Co.
He made the following improvements:
Hipshot USA ultralight tuners
"Bar" type string retainer
Machined aluminum control knobs.
KSM Foundation Bridge
Circle K Strings (.142 traditional ballanced set)
Additional work done was levelling, crowning, polishing and dressing the frets, rolling fretboard edges, sanding and refinishing the back of the neck for a smoother (less tacky) feel. Complete pro setup including adjusting truss rod, setting saddle height and intonation, and filing nut for an ultra low action.
Rob does great work. This bass looks, feels, and plays great. There are some well filled holes where the old string tree was on the headstock, scratches on the pickguard, and a new logo on the headstock, and other than that this bass is minty.
Unfortunately, it's just not "me"
I feel about this bass the same way I feel about G&Ls - they sound great and I like to hear other people play them, but I like a less aggressive, more mellow sound for my basses.
This will be a great bass for someone who likes this sound. Fast attack, very articulate, does the G&L / quasi-MM thing very well in my opinion. PRICE DROP - $400 shipped CONUS, including Dunlop straplocks, black suede strap by Italia Straps, and Warwick HSC with one busted latch.

1. All original electronics. V/V/T. The tone knob pulls up to switch the bridge pickup from parallel to series, I believe.
2. The new bridge is really nice but blocks the thru-body stringing holes

Or. . . buy this one!

Bump!

Make me a cash or trade offer. My trade interests are pretty broad, but I'm especially interested in fretless, ABG, or fretless ABG. I also love Jazz style basses in all their variations.
