Schecter Hellcat VI

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale is by Schecter Hellcat VI Bass (yes, it's a bass!) in 3-tone sunburst. I purchased this about 6 months ago from a local mom & pop shop that ordered it in for me directly from Schecter (which incidentally is in Hollywood).
Here's a link to the specs.
It will come strung up with some La Bella HC-6N Nickel-wound strings made specifically for the Hellcat VI by La Bella.
I have changed the strap buttons out for some chrome Dunlop Dual Design Straplocks.
The bass will come with a Roadrunner gig bag, a Large Comfort Strapp with the other end of the straplocks, and five replacement sets of strings for the bass:
1 set of HC-6N Nickel Wound Strings
2 sets of HC-6S Stainless Wound Strings
2 sets of HC-6F Stainless Flatwounds

I paid $650 for this bass, and it has essentially sat unused this whole time. There are only some very slight dings and scratches (clear coat only) that won't show in a photo.

I'd like to get $500 local pickup for the whole thing.
Shipping would be on your dime, but I have 250lb ULine guitar/bass boxes that I can pack it in.

What are the string gauges for this guy? Is it somewhat like the Fender VI?

It is a Bass-VI variant (E-e, 1 octave down) and not a barritone (B-b, or other tuning).

The gauges for the La Bella HC-6N's are:
E - 0.095
A - 0.075
D - 0.055
G - 0.044
b - 0.035
e - 0.025

A little thicker than the Fender gauges, but that helps it sound bassier when using the neck pickup, but still have that characteristic twang in the bridge.
