Schecter Stiletto Studio 6

Sign in to disble this ad
$450 shipped continental US in a hardshell case.

I've really enjoyed this bass. Plays great and honestly sounds better than my other Schecter, but I don't get to utilize the 6 strings as often as I would like to with the way I play 6 strings. It spends most of its time in a stand or me noodling on it in my room. I'm wanting a 4x12, so I need funding. I don't enjoy the idea of selling it, but I'm not being fair to it. I'm not too interested in trades since I'm wanting a new cab, but I can only tell you no.

Since I've bought the bass, I've fixed the stripped screws situation for the pickups and cleaned out the scratchy pots. No issues whatsoever with the instrument. There are a couple of dings from the previous owner, but they are in inconspicuous areas. (By jack plate and bottom of head stock.) The hardware could use some polishing as well.

Neck-thru construction
Multilaminate maple and walnut neck with rosewood fingerboard
35" scale
Mahogany body with bubinga top
24 jumbo frets
Offset dot position markers
EMG-Hz pickiups
Master volume and blend controls
3-band EQ
Diamond Custom bridge
Grover tuners
Satin gold hardware

I have played a 4 string Schecter Stiletto Studio and it feels and sounds like a much more expensive bass.

I am sure it will be the same with the 6 string, thus if you are looking to get your hands on a 6 string, this is a great deal.

These are *awesome* basses. I wish I could snap this up, I love the Stiletto Studios and I've wanted a 6er for a while.

I was thoroughly impressed with this bass. I expected it to sound very similar to my Stiletto 5, but it surprised me. Honestly, I've held off selling it because of how great it is and was trying to talk myself into selling the 5, but I couldn't justify it. Honestly, I'm having a hard time justifying selling it other than I don't play it as often as I would like to. No part of me wants to get rid of it, but some part of me says it's just wasted money that could be used for something else.

Thanks a lot for the support guys.

I've been meaning to ask you if you still liked the bass. Sucks that you have to part with it but I'm glad you enjoyed it. I sold it to you for the same reason. Good luck.

Holy thread from the grave!

Actually, I do still have it. I'm still straddling that same exact fence as before sadly.
