Hey guys =)

I've been accepted and have registered for the last 2 years of my post-secondary education, and want to help make things easier on myself by having some extra funds for tuition, rent, etc.

Up for grabs:

Aria RSB-800 (a fairly rare instrument)

Details are very, very scarce on this bass. I've been researching it for over 4 years and have found very little information. What I can tell you from owning it is this:

It has a brass nut, Aria Pro II brand Machine Heads, two humbucking pickups, 2 switches (i believe one is a phase, the other I'm not sure) and two stacked pots, controlling volume and tone for each pickup. The neck is made of hard rock maple and walnut and the body/wings are canadian ash.

I am shipping from Alberta, Canada. I will ship this bass with its original hard-shell case with whichever carrier you prefer.

The only modification I've made to it is the back-plate, the old one was falling off so I crafted an aluminum one in place of it. A previous owner had also replaced one of the pickup switches with a newer one.

There is one catch: This bass was sold once, but had developed a new 'dead' pickup problem somewhere between shipping and receiving. I've tested it since receiving it back and, yes, indeed this problem exists. I've checked the wiring (as did the previous buyer) and it is indeed done correctly. I guess the pickup just bit it =/ I'm not overly sure how to fix it, to be honest; but if you are handy I can leave it up to you =)

$450 + shipping (from Canada) OBO =)

Note: That isn't dust, it is a reflection haha

Next up:

Jackson DK2M in Snow White

Everything on it is standard and works perfectly. It has an Alder body, Maple neck, 24 (jumbo) frets, licensed Floyd Rose (always used Standard or Light Top - Heavy Bottom strings, set for Drop D [I used to play for a metal band and the other guitarist used a 7-string]), and SD pickups.

The only aesthetic issue(s) with it is some of the fine-tuners are a little worn after being used so much, but that's the only issue really - they can be replaced for a couple of bucks at (almost) any shop. There are no dents, dings or paint missing (apart from inside one of the horns next to the neck, that was there when I got it though). It plays perfectly and quickly with that maple neck =)

Only problem: It has been sitting without strings for a few months (but has been kept dust-free and clean), so may require an adjustment upon receiving.

I bought this brand new at around $1100, so I'd like to sell this beauty for $450 + Shipping (I'm from Canada); but am very open to reasonable offers =)

Next up:

Asus G51VX-X3A Gaming Laptop

Specs: (Edited in, woops)

15.6" 1080p screen
P8700(2.53GHz [overclockable to 3.0+)
4GB Memory
320GB HDD (7200rpm)
DVD Super Multi
nvidia gtx 260M

I purchased it in December of 2009 as a desktop replacement, and it works extremely well as one. I am able to play games like Mass Effect, Valve games (Half Life 2, Left 4 Dead (2), Counter Strike: Source, etc. with high settings and great framerate) and modern-era games with good framerate and settings. It does run hot, and that is why I am shipping it with a Zalman NC2000 notebook cooler ($70 value).

The machine still has 1 year of warranty left and the warranty has been used once (hard drive corrupted, they replaced it).

Feel free to ask me any questions!

I am selling this great machine for $600 (all cost ~$1500 new)

I do have some other things I'm considering selling (another guitar [semi-acoustic], maybe my Geddy bass, an Ashdown head + cabinet... Etc, we'll see). Get a hold of me if any of that interests you!

Lastly,

- Shipping: I will ship to elsewhere other than North America, but would need more information from whomever may be purchasing anything. I'll weigh everything out with whatever courier you prefer.

- Returns: I don't think you'll need reason to return as everything is exactly as advertised; but will listen to extreme cases.

Thank you =)

Hi Tom,

A word of caution. Place the guitar and laptop in a separate sale AD in the misc items sale forum. It is a Forum violation to post non-bass items for sale in the bass guitar sale section. I know this from experience. Good luck with your sale.

BTW: The Aria looks nice. Too bad I'm broke.

Haha, very true and thank you!

Indeed, I wanted to try and group them together to have exposure to everything; but.... If it gets shut down I'll indeed split them up =)

Thanks a ton!
