1.Rickenbacker 4001 from 1979 with Mapleglo finish. Amazing instrument kept in tip top shape over the years. All original and all electronics etc are in perfect working order. Some notes, if I may. The dark blue one is indeed Midnight Blue. It took over from Azureglo (AZ) in 1985. Midnight Blue (MID) came standard with black trim (binding, pickguard, truss-rod cover) and hardware (tuners, pickup surrounds, tailpiece, strap pins) from its introduction through 1998 when it was fitted standard with white/chrome trim. MID started as very dark (like yours) but varied over the years; some quite bright metallic blue, others drifted to a more purple shade.
The red burst one is definitely Fireglo. Autumnglo would be a pure brown burst.
The three controls on the 3001 are volume, bass boost (actually treble cut) and treble boost (actually bass cut).
