A thousand pardons. I am not the original owner. The bass is the one pictured in the Bass Player Magazines up until a few months ago. The person who owned it traded it to Scott at Birdsongguitars for another one. I can not remember his name but he has a video or two he posted here of it.
The way I ended up getting it is I had one on order. Howerver a Talkbass member had a Birdsong Cort Bass for trade and I had a Deluxe Fender P Bass I traded for it. It already has the drop D tuning I wanted.
I talked with Scott and would have had to pay a penalty for a refund and wanted to check this one out since he had it on consignment. It's great but I really have too many basses! I am running out of room for them and cases in my spare bedroom. So I am simply thinning the herd.
All my basses are great. Really

And whoever gets this one will be happy. I have only bathroom scales that I have to weigh with as well as the bass. I have to stand on the scale with the bass. To me it feels light, but the scales went from a low reading of 8 pounds to a high of 9.4 and everything in between. Thats the best I can do for you on a weight at the moment.
The serial number is 11F-023. I am sure Scott can give you more info. If whoever gets it wants, I can also include a copy of a Bassplayer magazine that has a photo ad of it.
