Signature Bass In Olympic White P'ups in 70's Position

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello to All: TRADED

Looking around, I now own eight J basses (how the heck did that happen?)....some of them have to go

I have here a Signature Bass Co. 4 stringer in Olympic White.

There are a few of us here who've owned or currently own these basses, and I have to tell you they are really nice. (I've owned two.)

I actually bought this bass from Guitar Center here in NYC about four years ago. These can be bought off of Ebay as separate necks and bodies - in this case $295 for this particular wood/finish body and over $200 for the bound, blocked neck.

The body is Ash and the neck is maple w/ a maple board, blocked and bound. The pickups are amazing on these basses! Very hot, and they get an excellent growl, even though they are passive. They are also set in the 70's position, with the bridge pickup 1/2" closer to the bridge, for a very funky sound. It has a few scuffs and small dings, but nothing too crazy. A former genuis owner tried to pick the finish off the maple board that was covering the block inlays....no idea why, and does not affect the playability, but I have to mention it.

The bass has string through body ferrules and tilt-adjust for the neck....sets up really nice. It has a full size J body, but only weighs 9.2 lbs, balanced really well. Also has Dunlop Straplocks and will come shipped in a gigbag.

If your looking for a sleeper J bass for not a lot of money, you will be pleasantly surprised!

PRICE DROP

360.00 and I'll split the shipping with you.

Some reviews on these basses are found here:

trade

Not really interested in the Yamaha, but thanks....

As far as trades go, I'd really be interested in a guitar...something like a Telecaster or Strat....I dunno....show me what you've got

Also in the market for a camera...something in the ballpark of a Nikon D40-D90 or similar quality.

I can ad cash for deals as well.

BUMP!! A friend of mine has 2 of these and honestly they blow away any Fender USA jazz basses away as far as passive tone goes... This is a steal for the tone you get with these. Totally worth it! Good luck.

Thanks for saying that man....I honestly believe that 100%. These stock pickups are better sounding than any USA passive Fender, clear punchy, with just the right amount of growl.

Great bass, especially for the price!

No one has a guitar laying around?

Wow of all the trades I've been offered so far NO ONE has offered a guitar....if the Gitbox is good enough, I can ad money on my end folks...just sayin'.

Would also be open to acoustics as well, 6 or 12 strings
