Stupid desparate low price of $1850 shipped to the 48!
Skjold Lion's Pride 5-string jazz
Skjold pick-ups and 3-band East preamp.
Mahogany body with a bitchin' flame maple top with matching headstock.
Ebony board with zero fret.
3-piece maple neck.
35" scale.
Skjold Protec gig bag (very nice).
Weighs about 10 lbs.
Excellent condition. No nicks or dings I could find.
Action and playability are to die for. Tone is very versatile... Goes from Fender like tones to Alembic. Cool bass, stunning to look at, fun to play, glad I got to try it out... It's just not my thing.
I'm asking $2200 shipped to the 48. Shipping outside the 48 can be arranged on your dollar.
I'd prefer a straight up sale but I will consider trades for higher end lightweight 112's (1 or 2 of them) preferably with covers and/or Thunderfunk (with the switch) heads + cash.

My back is finicky, so I've been playing basses in the 8 lb range. Still, this bass balances well and isn't bad at all. I would snatch it up if I was feeling 100% again....Actually, I'm considering it....... |

I made a sound clip of it that should be on Pete's site or his user forums somewhere. After I traded it off, I missed it so bad I wound up getting another LP. Pete Skjold really is one of the absolute best in the business, this is a steal. |
