I love tapping, but I'm never going to be that great at it. I've figured out that I would be better off with an SB8 or NS/Stick, so my 10-string Chapman Stick is up for sale.
Rosewood 10-string #1030, from around 1996.
It's made from ONE PIECE of Indian Rosewood, and it's beautiful. This Stick has a fully-adjustable bridge that's regroupable from 5+5 to 6+4, and the paua shell inlays. Electronics are the classic Stickup humbucking pickup with stereo outputs and twin volume controls. There's a mini-toggle added to combine the two signals into mono on one volume control, which is great for practicing or playing through a single amp. Frets are the round-profile Rods.
It's currently strung in Double Bass Reciprocal, which is like a six string bass on top and the standard inverted fifths Stick tuning on the bottom, but that's easy to change.
Tuning is D# G# C# F# B | E A D G C from the bass side to the melody side. The B is the same as the low B or a 5- or 6-string bass.
Details on the tuning:
