Smith BSR5J. 1999

I HAVE TRADED! this great bass. It has just had a pro set up and new Smith taper core strings.

It sounds great and plays wonderfully. It is very similar to my Sadowsky UV70 and I dont need 2 such similar instruments.

It is in good condition overall. There are some typical player marks, it is not a closet queen.

It will ship in an old gig bag.

Asking $1850 shipped in the 48. I would prefer a cash sale. However, I am open to trades for something like a neck through Smith with soap bars. I can add cash if required.

I will get some pics up tomorrow.

Cheers
Neil

Here are some pictures.

I forgot to mention in the op that there is a thin crack in the neck pup cover. It is stable and doesn't cause any issues.

The bass will have its standard strap locks fitted when it ships.

Very nice.

Looks like a solid ash body.

She must be light for a smith. Do you know the weight?
