Flame maple top and back over mahogny body wings with maple center block, macascar ebony fingerboard.
The CR series was the bolt-on high end Smith.
OHSC, but it's beat pretty bad!!
6.5 out of 10 in condition. It's been played. But not bad for a 16 year old bass.
Plays like a million and a half bucks and sounds like a classic Smith.

DISCLAIMER:
There was a repair done to the bass around the control cavity (Between the knobs- like the bass took a hit in that area).
The body was cracked and professionally repaired.
In fact, you have to be with-in inches of the bass to even see that it was done, and then it looks like mineral streaks in the wood.
Doesn't affect the bass in any way, other than the price being lower than if it wasn't cracked!
Ryan the store manager at Low Down Sound (
