As far as Trades, I'm not closed to them. However, the only reason I would ever selling is because I need the money. The Smith is with out a doubt far and away the greatest bass I have ever played, let alone owned. If you take a look at my previously owned gear, that will really put this into perspective. The Lakland is a admiral backup to it. Some have preferred the Miller to the Lakland.

Any trades would need to still have considerable cash input from the buyer. (think about 70%)

I've had a chance to play all three basses and they all sound and play killer.

The Smith is in a league all it's own.

weight on the MM... not sure , I don't own a scale... Its heavier than a gallon of milk, but lighter than about half the MM I pick up at the stores...

The Lakland is about the same as a gallon....

Cases for the MM or Lakland? Pups and electronics on the basses? Either one would be a nice addition to my collection.

And the same goes for the Marcus! I've been hunting for a sunburst one, was quite dead set until I saw this price...

Lakland

I asked some questions about the basses yesterday because I would like to buy 1 and you never answered me back? Do you have a case for Lakland? Pups and electronics on the bass? Nut with? I have the money and ready when ever you are.

Doug,
I had a real estate taxes due, and bills that couldn't wait.... I almost took out a car loan and sold my current ride outright, rather than do this. But, its not good stewardship to be taking out loans when your unemployed so.....

Once I knew I was selling the Smith, well....

I figure its easier to start over than compare....

I'm trying to look at basses that are very different than what I had.

Funny last time I had to do this (sell everything off) I sold a Spector Euro and a Thumb, and was blessed within a year with a Warrior and The Smith.... If God keeps raising the stakes like that ????? gold plated Ritter?
