As much as I tried to love it.....I'm just too much a jazz guy!
So, up for sale is my Fender 50's Precision bass. It is a 2008 model that I actually bought new in 2009. As you can see in the photo it is the Honey Blonde model with a maple fretboard.
This bass is cherry! Only been on a few gigs with it. It could be sold "as new"! There is not one mark, scratch or blemish on it. It is completely stock except for the chrome pickup cover I put on. Also I just put on a new set of D'Addario Chome flatwound strings.
This is a Mexican model, and is a great example of some of the best of the best comes out of the Fender Mexico plant. And talk about weight! The LIGHTEST Fender I have ever owned! It is not much heavier then my Sadowsky basses. If I were to guess I would say in the 8 lbs range.
To be honest, the only negative thing I can say about the bass is the stock Fender vintage tuners that are on it are a bit on the stiff side. Just takes a bit more elbow grease when stringing it up. But once in tune.....it stays in tune!
Included is the Fender gig bag that came with it and the hang tags of course.
All this can be yours for
$625 shipped. (USA) Paypal preferred.
I've got a great rep here on TB (just look at my feed back), so no need to worry about how it will be shipped.
BTW, this photo IS of the actual bass:
