Little back story on this bass:
I was on a quest for the ultimate Jazz 4 and Jazz 5 for the last 2 years.
I played and bought great Lakland DJ4's and DJ5's, Fenders: Geddy Lee, Marcus.
Then I found this JB, This was the only time I said that this was a real keeper.
I realized along the way that I am more a 5 string player, and I made the painstaking decision to sell this 4 1/2 month young MINT bass.
Do I want to sell it? No… Am I a 5 string play who want's to fund a build for a Nordy VJ5 Classic? Yes.. So that's the truth behind the sale of this amazing bass.
If I could afford to keep it, you wouldn't be seeing this.
Description:
The pick ups are wound hot. So much so that the sound is more full, present than other basses that I have that are active, but in a great way in the mix. This bass has all the Jazz ranges in tone you would expect, except it's very musical, authoritative, and just does what you want it to do, and like butter, and fun to play…
