SOLD! Millennium 5 USA - Beauty!

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD

I have a gorgeous Peavey Millennium 5 USA, purchased here on TB about 9 months ago, that has had a setup, new strings and very little playing time since I bought it. This is up for sale, hopefully to a new owner who appreciates how amazing these basses really are. [FYI: here’s a link to the original ad - Gorgeous Peavey Millennium Plus 5 - Make Payments!].

Now to the info: this bass was Peavey's top of the line bass before the Cirrus series, and originally sold for around $1500.
• USA made
• Alder body with 1/4" thick flamed maple top
• Quartersawn maple neck with carbon fiber rods
• Hipshot USA bridge and Ultralite tuners
• Tusq artificial bone nut
• Active MM/J pickups
• 3-band active preamp with sweepable mids and active blending
• Weighs in at about 9 lbs
• Dunlop straplocks installed
• Comes strung with a new set of DR Hi-Beam Flats
• OHSC included
• 35" scale

As far as trades – pretty limited, but if you have a USA SB-2 or another quality P/J or P, might be interested (plus cash either way depending),

Nice!

How is the neck thickness compared to your L2500?

Quite a bit thinner. Even a bit thinner than my Cirrus.

Dang I need something as thick or thicker

That thing is so beautiful though, and after getting a 4 string Millennium I'm totally blown away by these basses. Somebody is gonna get lucky with this one.

Man, that thing is very nice.... I have a 1991 Warwick SSI 4 banger for trade for a 5'er. Let me know if you are interested. I would need some cash on your end though.

Man, although that tone is not really what I want at the moment, USA Millenniums are so incredibly nice compared to what they cost, buying one always is a good idea to me.

Hey Chris;

Thanks for the offer .. you have a beauty there! But I should have been more specific in terms of trade interests..besides a USA SB2 or SB1, a USA Fender P or P/J, or maybe one of the older Yamaha BB series would definitely snag my attention. A USA Millennium P/J might raise my eyebrows as well.

1.8" wide at the nut. Mariner please verify but that should be right. I'll help you sell this thing....because it's way to tempting!
