SOLD!!!!
Chef has had dibs on this for years, and when I finally decided to sacrifice it to help pay for my Will Lee, was only too happy to step up as buyer. So this thread is just for feedback purposes.
But, for the sake of quality bass porn, here are some photos to remember it by:
Hope you enjoy it, Alan!!! |

One sold on eBay in July with the teardrop Case for $960. The original BIN for it (with free shipping) was $1050.
That, of course, has nothing to do with this one.... |

He's a recommended guy to deal with: A+++.
When I first laid eyes on this bass...4 or more years ago now...I pm'd him asking for dibs if he ever decided to flip it.
Not only did he remember that, he gave me enough time to sell some of my stuff to finance it, and was extremely supportive, easy to work with, etc.
Not sayin' he'd extend special consideration exactly like this to every dang buyer, on every dang deal; but, he's a straight up nice guy to work with.
Thanks!!!

You can check my thread for it's numbers; search for threads here in basses f/s, started under my user name...
I'll leave it to Bart to talk about his numbers if he cares to; his is coming to me in the original tuxedo case as well, I believe...
In case future researchers want to know, my Houser sold to TB user Buffalobass.

IIRC: Matching colors front and back on a Rev bass was an upcharge; the default color for the back was black.
The hardshell case was an upcharge, default delivery was a logo'd gig bag.
Barts bass is lava front, black on back.
My former bass is mahogany front and back.
Matching front and back was an upcharge from Reverend; the default color for the back was black.

here's where I first saw this bass...maybe.
I may have seen it over at the orignal Dudepit first, but it's been on my radar for many, many years: http://www.bovinehost.com/currentbasses/houserfish.html
