I bought this bass in September 2010 from TBer nostatic:
FS: Zon Sonus Custom 5-string Bubinga top I have played this bass only at home and have been very careful with it. I feel that it is in the same condition as when I purchased it.
The bass is a stunning beauty but she is not perfect. A close inspection will reveal the following flaws (I can send hi-res photos); a couple very tiny and shallow dings between the control knobs, a very small finish crack at the bass of the neck pocket below the B string, some shallow chipping along the edge of the fretboard by the 19-21st fret side markers, a few tiny dings and shallow scratches on the back of the body. There is also a shallow 3/8”w x 1/2" ding along the back edge of the body.
Given the beautiful grain and highly figured wood, the flaws are very well camouflaged. The frets and thumb surface of the neck are in excellent shape.
This bass looks, plays, and sounds exactly as a Zon Custom should.
