This is one of only 83 gloss white NS-2JA-R (1983 NS-2JA Reissue) models made.
IT IS FLAWLESS. Never taken out of my home. Never gigged with or anything else. It has been in a case or on a stand in my office. That's it. No scratches... it's perfect.
A reissue of the original SPECTOR bolt-on NS-Bass from 1983. The original versions were available in three finishes; Gloss Black, Gloss White and Natural Maple.
Only 83 of each finish was made and they represent some of the best playing and best sounding SPECTOR's to ever come out of the SPECTOR Czech Republic factory.
The production run for these basses has been completed and there are no more available new on the market. They are becoming more and more in demand as players realize how great they sound and play.
I purchased this one new from Bass Central in July of last year.

Please note that this bass will appear to have ABALONE CROWN INLAYS in some of the photos. IT DOES NOT. Those were the vinyl decals you can get. Because the pearl dots on these basses are very small and close together at the 12th fret, I was able to place a 1st fret decal over the 12th fret markers to make it look "authentic". These decals were on for about two months and then removed. No damage was done to the neck from them. Thanks!

There are some superficial scratches on the outside of the case. No rips... the new SPECTOR cases have metal (brass) feet which you have to be careful with. If you stack them on top of one-another they we scratch the cover/outside of the case below them. ALL of my SPECTOR cases are scratched because I used to keep them stacked in a corner of my office.
