SPECTOR EURO DOUG WIMIBISH MODEL Adjustable Tone pump pre and Drop D tuner

Hey There... ***SOLD***

I am putting my Doug Wimbish Spector up for sale...I already have a Kramer era NS-2A Spector that scratches that itch, so I guess I'll move this one along.

My Sadowsky's get most of the love these days anyway..

Most people already know this stuff, but for the sake of those who don't...The Wimbish model has a smaller neck, more akin to a Jazz bass size...1.5 inch neck, modeled after Doug's Spector that he had shaved down (I think during the Kramer era of Spectors, but you can look up the info on the Spector website).

It has the newer Tone Pump preamp that is adjustable. The bass is wired Volume, Blend, Treble, Bass. The bass is a little "richer" in Amber color than other Wimbish basses...with a really nice quilted maple top.
For full disclosure...there are small surface scratches on the back of the bass near the control cavity, 3 to be exact. They radiate from the brass nuts of the control cavity that hold the cover on. Best guess is that this may have come from the factory this way, as it looks like this happened as someone overzealously put the brass inserts in the body..other than that the bass is clean. The bass now sports a Hipshot Drop D tuner...the original Schaeller tuner is included. Also the bass comes with a Spector hardshell case.

Bass weighs in at 8 lbs 10 oz. Do I need to tell you it plays like a dream? 1350 shipping included to the lower 48 states. To my bass brothers in other parts of the world, you can PM for a shipping quote.
