Spector Euro4 bass.

For sale is my dark blue, 4-string Spector Euro4 (Czech Republic) bass guitar.

I am asking $850.00 shipped within CONUS.

The bass is in good condition, and has some minor cosmetic issues:

* Light surface scratches on the back
* A couple of very small dings at the body edge (see picture)
* Top of the Spector symbol is faded at the headstock (see picture).

The bass was manufactured in 2002. The bass is a neck-through and has a solid maple body wing.

For protection, I will ship the bass in a generic non-Spector hardshell case.

I went to the Spector website and did not see a matching color of my bass. The bass looks black from a distance, but up close it has a very dark royal blue finish. It does not have any reds in it, thus, I would not consider it close to purple.

The weight is 9 lbs on my digital bathroom scale.

Although I would like the cash to pay some bills, I am now open to possible bass trades.

Out of curiosity, does this bass have the boost only TonePump preamp?

When I purchased the bass, I was told it had the TonePump preamp. Because I was not very knowledgeable about the Spector options, I did not think too much about it - I just liked the way it sounded.

However, I was advised from a very knowledgable Spector bass player that told me that my bass did not have the TonePump preamp.

The bass was manufactured in 2002. Is there an easy way to determine if it has that preamp?

Is it volume/volume or volume/blend? Also, if you open the control cavity, the TonePump is a small black box - if you don't see the small black box, you've got something else.

i had a spector that was identical to this one. this is the only one ive seen that looks the same color as the one i had. makes me kinda happy to see it...and kinda sad i dont have it anymore

Cool, it has the TonePump then. I opened up the cavity and saw a very small black box mounted against the wall.
