Spector NS2A "project bass" with OHSC - PRICE DROP

I'm abandoning my project to restore this NS2A in favor of hunting down a different model Spector. Issues? It has a few but nothing that's horrifying for a bass this age. I've done my best to reflect these in the pics provided. The biggest issue (to me anyway) is that there's noticeable fret wear from the 1st fret to the 7th. When I had it strung this wasn't a problem for me (no buzzing issues) but it's something you may want to address. Secondly, the nut is broken in two spots and held together with super glue. It still works fine but it's something I'd consider replacing. Perhaps it would make a decent template for a custom brass nut. There's a touch of roundwound string digging on the 2nd & 3rd frets of the fretboard. The truss rod cover's gold Spector logo has long since worn off and the control cavity cover only has two screws attaching it to the body. The upper contour on back of the body has significant scratching but it doesn't penetrate too deeply in the finish.

As far as the rest of the bass, the Haz copy preamp functions as it should, the truss rod works fine with plenty of play left, the bridge is fine with the side set screw intact and the M4 tuners are still plenty functional.

I'm offering this bass with or without the EMG active P/J set. They're not attached to the pre and are only in the body for show. These are newer EMG pickups and as other NS2A owners can attest, they're a VERY tight fit as is and would benefit from a little creative Dremel/filing work in the pickup cavity to accommodate the pickups better. When I had this strung up and running, it was with heavy (115) strings for a low C tuning. I can include the strings if you'd like. Otherwise, It'll ship without strings. Can include generic chrome strap buttons upon request.

The OHSC has seen better days. one of the end edges on the case lid is separating but not too drastically and still functions fine. All latches work perfectly.

I'm asking $380 + actual shipping $350 shipped for the bass with the EMGs and $280 + actual shipping $250 shipped without. Feel free to PM me with any questions you have about the bass.

Wasn't thinking trades (was gonna do that with an MTD K5 Artist I've got coming up in the classifieds) BUT something along the lines of an older Rebop 5 (not expecting a DLX) or Rex 5 could pique my interest.

Been on the road the last few days. Sorry to leave y'all hanging. All PMs responded to.

@Jarrod. It's still here. There may be an in-state transaction brewing though.
