OK folks, I picked this beauty up to use as a back-up to my other Spector #76 (virtually identical in tone). I have had my blue one since 1996 as my primary instrument. This is #157, it is a USA bass and here are some specs.
String Spacing I measured at just slightly over 17mm.
Nut width is 1 3/4 inches
Weight is 9.8 lbs.
will trade for the right 5 string of comparable value!!!
I have played many Spectors. I find this era (early to mid 90's) to be the best sounding. The quality is top notch, they are built like a tank, and the consistency from bass to bass is uncanny. AND IT HAS A MEAN SPECTOR GROWL!!!
PLEASE RESPOND WITH EMAIL ADDRESS FOR MORE PICS..
Thanks for looking;

| | Registered User | | | | | HI BESHARP!!! This bass is awesome and it will be sad to see it go. I wish I could afford to keep everything in my collection, but I need to thin it out a bit. The other Spector that I have is virtually identical in every regard. They are insane!!! I am a simple man,... now I will just keep 2 basses. One neck thru Spector, and a bolt on J Bass... |

I will entertain "Reasonable cash offers"
