Hello all. This is my first attempt to sell on TB, so bear with me while I get all this straight.
I have a solid black (not dyed) Spectorcore Fretless 5-string for sale. I bought it over a year ago for a project that fizzled and now find myself in a country gig. Also, in the course of playing a lot more than I used to I realized that I'm a short-scale guy. So, this sadly is a bass I can't really use.
It is in excellent condition, new-ish set of Chromes on it. No case but I'll pack it very well.
I'm looking for $350 (price drop!), we can split shipping in the CONUS. Or make me some reasonable offer. I'm also interested in some trades, but I can't add cash. Actually, I could use the cash more. So trades I'm interested in are cheap-ish and short scale, goofy stuff. I could also use a good fuzz/distortion pedal, maybe an octave or flange.
I'll post photos shortly when I see that this actually posts. In the meantime you could look at http://s1028.photobucket.com/albums/y344/grisezd/
Thanks for looking!

Lets try this. Bass has an emg Hz soapbar and a peizo bridge. Great sound, I just don't have a use for it.
Dust and a smudge really lit up in the flash. The finish is much better than the photo shows.
From the back.
And again.
Thanks for looking!

Also have an octave pedal, gotta dig it out of the old box of no longer used pedals and make sure it works. Everything is good as far as the electronics? No buzzes or hum? Thanks! |

The only issue I have had, which is pretty minor, is the nut was slightly loose from the factory. I found out when I installed the flats, as the silks were a little long and pulled it loose when I tuned to pitch. Silks trimmed, nut re-glued, and all is well.
I can ship tomorrow if we work it out, let me know!
Thanks,
Dennis |

I've only just recently made the switch from guitar player/bass dabbler to full time bass player and have no time on an upright. I can tell you that it gets everything from a nice modern fretless tone with growl to a dull CW thud and a lot of very nice natural sounding bass tones in between. I'm also afraid that I'm not well equipped at the moment to record decent clips. There were posts about these over the last few years, I'll try to find some, hopefully with clips. |

And, bump.
BTW, is my price too high? Make me an offer. It's a great bass |

| | | | Very interested. I would like to purchase that bass if it was still for sale.
I would need to see if I can make arrangements,
So maybe a couple of days to figure it out,
But I would enjoy having it.
I can't make a promise that I will buy it but I want to try if I can get enough money between college and a car.
What would be the lowest offer you would be willing to accept?
I'm not sure how to use this website. I made it strictly to respond to this offer. |

Bathroom scale says 8.4 lbs. Shoulder seemed to say less, but there you have it. |
