Up for sale is my workhorse, my baby of countless gigs. She has served me well for the years I've owned her, and it pains me to sell her on, but I'm not playing 34" scale anymore. She sits in the closet. It's time to move on. Squier II p-bass made in Korea (Serial number is an S9, so it's a Samick). These have a reputation for being solid and having really great maple necks, which describes mine perfectly. It has lots of bass in the tone - I've noticed over several string and pickup changes, and even playing it unplugged, it has a deep, gutsy feeling that my other basses lack. This bass is superior in tone and quality to any other Squier I've played, including the CV line and my 80's MIJ P (!). Very basic slab design with no body contours or pickguard (small rear rout for electronics). She holds tune very well and is currently sporting a SD Quarter Pounder and new DR Hi-Beams. I'd be happy to restring her with the TI flats she's been wearing for the past two years if you'd prefer (for some seriously phat tone!).
She's no museum piece. I've replaced the G tuning machine. The bridge has some rust on it (but is perfectly functional). I put in a Switchcraft jack and some new pots (don't remember the make). No damage visible from a distance, but some chips/scratches are there. There's a tiny hole in the face of the instrument near the tone knob where some idiot put a screw through the body. Long story short, she's a player, and heck, I still think she's pretty
Comes with OHSC and matching red flame strap (not shown) and will be very well packed. $300 shipped CONUS.

I would say the neck is very middle of the road for a p neck - it feels a bit thinner to me (front to back) than the current Std. American Fenders.
I don't have a scale, so I'll have to take it in to work to weigh it. My guess is 8ish lbs., but I'll get back to you on that one!
