Squier P-Bass 5 Conversion

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm GASsin' for an ATK 305, so I'm selling my recent project bass. This used to be a Squier 2 P-Bass 4-string that I converted to a 5. Active p'ups (Seymour Duncan Lightnin' Rods), high mass bridge, bone nut, and jockomo inlay decals. It's got some mojo (as shown in the pics), and isn't going to win a beauty pageant. She plays great, nice sustain, no issues with neck or body. When I straightened the neck to lower the action, I discovered I had filed the nut grooves a little too low (had some fret buzz), so I've raised it up with a bit 'o plastic, and problem solved. Strung with Rotosound Swingbass 66s. I've got more invested in the parts than what I'm selling it for, so I may part this one out if there's enough interest. However, I'd like to find her a new home in one piece. $125 shipped to the CONUSA.

So what does the string spacing end up being on this?? Also, what about the G string going off the neck when fretting??

16mm string spacing. No issues with the G string coming off the neck.
